, Iowa went to school at Don Bosco in Gilbertville, Iowa where he graduated High School. Ron was baptized at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Gilbertville, Iowa where the Schleusner family faithfully attended church. Ronald had to take a early Retirement due to his health issues in 2005 from John Deer. Ron Married Betty Bjornson and adopting Betty's daughter Sherice. Years after his son Randy Schleusner was born. Ron was divorced from Betty. Then Ronald was Drafted into the U.S Army where he served 4 years. Served In Germany in during The Vietnam War. After coming home from Germany him and Betty remarried then later divorced. Ron found his connection when meeting his true love Mary Bandfield she had two kids Michaela & Keith. Later Mary and Ron were married joining their families together. Mary & Ron birthed their daughter Tonya Schleusner who shortly passed after birth. short time later the birth of their son Travis Schleusner. Ron love to hang out with his siblings Jackie/Roger & Joanne/Harold spent lots family time together. Ron was the favorite uncle always carried a special bond with his nephews/niece Tim, Tony, Fred , Michelle Reiners, and Jacob & Adam Shepard. Ron build a house with in ground pool in cedar heights where he spent hours hanging with the kids and family. Ron enjoyed good game cards. Ron liked to grilling out the family say diffantly wasn't his greatest match but "Hey someone likes their meat occasionally burnt or dipped in sand." Ronald favorite hobbies with his sons Travis, Randy/Grandson, Keith and few of his friends going Hunting and fishing spending days looking for that perfect catch. If Ron wasn't home stirring at his big screen T.V watching his favorite game show he be wanting to go out to his favorite Breakfast spots around town always his food choice first. Ron's love for bowling drew him into winning many high score bowling leagues at Maple & Cadillac Lanes in waterloo, Iowa. the boys Travis and Randy Schleusner got into bowling with Ron at early age. Ron said recently he was so proud to be around to watching Travis hit his latest 300 game on the bowling league at Maple Lanes and then getting invited to go bowling national with 2026 Frans pro Shop Team and along side his wife Brandy Schleusner in Reno, NV. Ron said the coaching days paid off. As Ron's health decline he had to give up his home and move in with his son Travis & Brandy. Ronald Called Brandy his "Angel from Heaven" she stop working to care for Ron as he needed around clock care. Travis & Brandy help Ron live out his final years by doing thing Ron always wanted to do like go see a live concert. He ended up going to many concerts latest one was the Alabama, Buddy Holly tribute, the Rain "Beatles" tribute , an Elvis Tribute. Also on Ron's bucket list was seeing a live Yankee game although his health wouldn't allow him to travel far. The closest game was in Chicago, Illinois white sox vs Yankees even though his team lost that night said was the best unforgettable birthday gift ever because got to see Yankees play and spend time with his sons Travis(Brandy),Randy, Keith. Ron loved seeing his grandchildren called them all his little Monsters. Brandy introduced her adopted daughters Alexis & Shyenne and grandkids to Ron he shortly was proud to be called their 'Pop-Pop". Those who knew Ron knew he had a love connection to Pepsi so always had pop bottle in his hand giving him his forever name by all 'Pops" also another word for dad. Ronald spent his final days at Home with the Cedar Valley Hospice team until he rapidly declined spending rest of his final day at the Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo, Iowa by an amazing, loving team. Ronald Final Ride was in his 1968 Chevy Camaro with his Son Travis. Ronald William Schleusner you will always be Loved and Forever Remembered until we meet again 'Pops". There will be Funeral Service at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Friday 11am followed by a Veterans flag folding/gun salute by the American Legion post in Gilbertville, Iowa, and a luncheon to follow services.
