Rickey Johnnie Robbins Jr. April 27, 1966 - June 26, 2025 Rickey Johnnie Robbins Jr., 59, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on June 26, 2025, at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines. Born on April 27, 1966, in Des Moines, Rickey was the son of Rickey Robbins Sr. and Linda Robbins, who both preceded him in death. Rickey is survived by his loving children: Tanner Robbins, Brittney (Bryan) Bielfelt, and Nikki (Trevor) Beals. He was a proud grandfather to Adrien, Connor, Cammi, Brylee, Halle, Maddox, and Jett. As well as his sister Laura and brother Darren (Angela). Rickey worked for many years at Vermeer before continuing his career as a skilled auto mechanic. He had a passion for working on cars, cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers, cooking out with friends and family, and riding his motorcycle. Rickey also cherished the time spent with his lifelong friend Doug Newell. Those who knew Rickey will remember his big smile, warm heart, and easygoing spirit.
