by the Cherokee Nation, and even had several of her pieces displayed in galleries. In her kitchen, her specialties were her famous jerky and orange cake. It became a Christmas tradition for all the family to receive their own bag of her jerky and all of her granddaughters requested her orange cake to be served at their weddings. It was on June 21, 2019 that Cotton passed away in Oklahoma City at the age of 84. She was surrounded by her loving family. Those she leaves to cherish her memory include: son, Billy Hughes and wife, Rhonda of Bixby; grandchildren, Jenny Forsyth and husband, Rich of San Antonio, TX, Chris Hughes and wife, Kim of Choctaw, Carson Hughes and wife, Miranda of Skiatook, Cierra Hughes and fiancé, Rick Schultz of Skiatook, Marc Slocum and wife, Kendall of Lufkin, TX, Dawn Baxter and husband, Duane of Diboll, TX, and Misty Harris and husband, Jason of Huntington, TX; great grandchildren, Braxton Forsyth, Breigha, Zach, Kaeden and Carter Hughes, Blakeley Hughes, Danika and Dare Schultz, Kaden, CharLeigh and Piper Slocum, Arielle Martin and Colter Baxter, Tyler, Austin and Addison Harris; sisters, Opal Dempsey, Ora Lee Ledbetter and Linda Killingsworth and husband John; brother, William Hill and wife, Anna; special friends since grade school, Robie Taber and Ruth Ramsey; special neighbor, Dan Lindberg; and fluffy companion, Emmie Lou. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Cline Wadsworth; sisters, Cora Cronister, Nellie Davidson and Eloise Smith; grandson, Cody Hughes; and daughter-in-law, Linda Hughes; dear friend, Donna Bloomfield. Services to honor and celebrate the life of Delores Wadsworth will be 4:00 pm Saturday, June 29, 2019 at RiverCrest.
