rry was on the courses of Elmore and Buffalo Center, where he was easily spotted with his pipe either in his mouth or resting beside his ball. In his later, years Jerry was always the first one ready as he eagerly joined Marlene and family for Mass. In later years, he enjoyed visiting granddaughters Anna and Leah in Germany and California and locally watching grandchildren Chris, Jessica, and Allison compete in sports at North Iowa High School or Andrew and Benjamin in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. He was their biggest fan. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, (Howard and Irene Murphy) and his beloved grandson Terry. He is survived by his wife Marlene, his four children, his brothers Mark (Carol) Winter, Don (Joan) Winter, his sister Cheri (Jerry) Kester, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
