itting in the woods hunting and enjoying nature. He was on the board of Pheasant's Forever, a member of the Veterans of Foriegn Wars, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the National Turkey Federation. He and his wife Sharon would spend the months of May through October at the lakes in Minnesota. He loved working there as a player's assistant at the Pines Golf Course part time. This was the perfect job for him, as he enjoyed meeting and talking with new people from across the United States. Sonny is survived by one daughter, Kristine Woodruff and husband Dennis of Carlisle, Iowa and one son, Steven Rochleau and his wife Diane of Cherokee, Iowa; four grandchildren Katherine DeRoo (husband Eric), Jacob Rochleau (wife Stephanie), Paige Smothers (husband Taylor), and Blake Woodruff (wife Molly); and seven great grandchildren. Sonny was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his parents Alton and Rose, two brothers, Gerald and Marvin, and sisters, Eileen and Delores. He is survived by sister, Doris Mueller and sisters-in-law, Betty Rochleau and Doris Rochleau. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the FAITH. II Timothy 4:7
