teve's life. He and Jake took numerous vacations with Beth and her family. It was while spending this time with his family, at large, that Steve would also become known as a fun uncle who helped to spoil his nieces. In addition to being a father and an uncle, Steve was a wonderful son who loved his parents and made sure to look after them. He was his mom's "go-to" when she had a computer or technology question and Steve also took care of the majority of their yard work. There were a number of years that Steve had the privilege of working alongside his dad as they performed finish carpentry together. In more recent years, Steve was known to head over to his mom and dad's and raid their pantry so he could try out one of his new recipes. Love would find Steve when he met Staci. The two met online and had a first date. The next day Steve messaged Staci, but thought he was messaging someone else. The problem was that he was asking another girl out on a date. Steve was a bit embarrassed by this and didn't contact Staci for some time. Eventually, however, he tried again. The two went on their "second-first date" and this time there was no mistaking it - they knew that they belonged together. They would marry on May 5, 2012 and enjoyed the time they shared from that moment on. This marriage not only brought two hearts together, it also melded a new family together. Steve was happy and blessed as he became a stepfather and a grandfather. And as one would think, he certainly enjoyed teasing them too. A man who has been described as: funny, kind-hearted and one who put others before himself, Steve enjoyed life and a good laugh. He loved music, writing stories, and watching movies and TV shows. His favorites being Sci-Fi's, and a good documentary. He also loved a good debate or argument - as he was a tad bit opinionated. Steve passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019. He was 51.
