Kenneth Quandt

Kenneth Wayne Quandt, age 75, died peacefully on May 27th 2019, surrounded by his family and close friends. Born in Rochester, MN he lived there with his family and was united in marriage to Lynn Holmberg in 1965; they later divorced. In August 1986, he married Kathleen Jo Allen and became a long-time resident of Rosemount, MN. He was a loving father and retired sheet metal worker who enjoyed spending time with his family and neighborhood friends, watching and playing sports, going on family fishing trips, and taking road trips to new places. After Retirement Ken drove school bus for a few years. Ken loved animals, and his dog, Tyr, was his constant loyal companion. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Jo (Allen) Quandt; parents, Gordon and Helen (Bruce) Quandt, step-mother, Rose; sister, Judy Pelowski and brother, Gregory Quandt. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Quandt family.
