career while she and Fred added a set of twins to their brood. Behind the scenes Rose Marie had three passions: chocolate, watching sports and the Arts. She sang a mean soprano, made sure all her children played musical instruments, had those children pursue sports to work off all the chocolate desserts she made, had them excel in college so they would be able to buy more chocolate and rooted for Tom Brady. Every Superbowl. She was unshakable in her faith in God, had a huge sense of humor, and loved volunteering for the Keokuk Fine Arts Council. At various times she was also active in All Saints Parish, Keokuk Board of Realtors, American Cancer Society, Grand Theater Commission, and the Keokuk Concert Association.
