s and, four granddaughters; Kendall, Shalynn, Kaia and Kaylee. Cliff was devoted to his family, his church, and his relationship with God. He donated his time and efforts at Campus Baptist Church over 4 decades in many ways. He was a prolific blood donor at Mary Greeley Medical Center and gave many gallons in the span of 3 decades until he could no longer donate, he saw this as his Christian responsibility to serve his fellow man. He always planted and tended a vegetable garden each year and truly enjoyed working in his yard or garden at any chance and would often share from growing an abundance of garden produce After retirement Cliff enjoyed going to garage sales with only his keys and $1 in his pocket to hunt for his, "treasure of the week." He collected an entire room full of toy cars, trucks and tractors of every size, and had a wall covered in lunch boxes. He was also a prolific coin and stamp collector all his adult life. He was a big reader his whole life and liked to fish and spend time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his Father, Mother and both siblings. A gathering time will be 4-6:00 p.m. Friday, May 17 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa; with a 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 18 funeral service at Crossroads Baptist Church, 57011 Us Highway 30, Ames, Iowa. Burial will take place at Ames Municipal Cemetery. His family request that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or MICA (Mid-Iowa Community Action).
