(Tukker) Olivier married and continued living in Joetown. Lyle retired from Stutsman Inc. as an electrician. He held the status of Master Electrician in Oregon and Iowa. He loved the color orange, his high school, the Oregon State Beavers, his Allis Chalmers tractors, and flying. He was a member of the Sharon Center United Methodist Church, Allis Chalmers Tractor Club, and a Breakfast Club. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda and their family; Dwight (Amy) Hubbard of San Jose, CA, Dr. Monica Hubbard of Boise, ID, Marian (Nick) Rice, Owen of Salt Lake City, UT, Duane (Melissa Shelabarger) Hubbard of Des Moines, stepson Lowell (John) Olivier Shaw, Shlanne (Deryk) Heyveld, Lillian, Henry, Benn (Randi) Shaw, Benntley Shaw, stepdaughter Lana (Larry) Corso, Brandon (Kelsey) Schakel, Finely Schakel, Everly Schakel, Kayla (Ryan) Petersen, Monica (John) Fehr, Darrin Corso, sisters; Marie Hubbard of Chico, CA, Lois Rasmussen of Randolph, NE, brother; Daryl Hubbard of Madison, NE, sister-in-law Cheryl and Bill Mead of Cedar Rapids, IA; Brazilian daughter (foreign exchange student) Teresa Catramby of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pedro Catramby, Gabriel Catramby, and many nieces and nephews. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Daryl and Dorothy Hubbard, his in-laws, Donald and Ruby Mathwig, his wife Gloria Mathwig, a brother Ronald, and sisters-in-law Jan Hubbard, Lois Mathwig, and Diane Mathwig, brother-in-law Jim Rasmussen. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church. Pastor Erling Schultz will officiate. The family will greet friends from 9:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Parkinson's Foundation and American Diabetes Association. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home is caring for Lyle and his family.
