d was on a soccer team. After he got married, Mihaiu enjoyed going to the local stadium, to watch the weekly soccer matches and often took his children with him. When he got older and retired. Mihaiu loved to watch sports, mainly soccer whenever it was on the television. He also enjoyed basketball. One of the things that set my father , Mihaiu apart, was that he was not a traditional man. My father and mother were equal in all areas as parents. They both had jobs and they both participated in household chores and parenting. My father, knew how to cook, make home made soups, stews, bread, etc. He could do his own cleaning and laundry. He also liked to garden. Before the passing of his wife, Mihaiu and his wife enjoyed walks at the beach and around the neighborhood. One of the greatest things my father did was to teach his only daughter, to be independent, to go to school, get a trade and be knowledgeable to sustain myself in all areas. He also taught me all about a car engine, how to climb up and down the mountain, how to ride a bike .. He was strict on homework assignments and no matter how tired he was when he came home from work, he always verified it. I will always be grateful to my father for teaching me most of the things he taught my brothers. Mihaiu and Ana moved to USA, Cleveland OH , in September 1983. In 1999, they retired and moved to Florida. Mihaiu enjoyed the warm weather and the big Romanian Community in Hollywood Florida along with his local church, Grace Romanian Baptist church. Mihaiu enjoyed horn instruments and men's choir. Those were his favorite two choices when it came to music. Mihaiu also loved animals, pets. His family always had dogs or cats, in Romania and in USA. Rest in peace Tati. Thank you for the memories. Cu drag, Dana (Daniela F Ileana)
