Paul B. Norman, 88, of Hampton, Iowa, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2019, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. He was born on March 11, 1931, in Culver City, California.
Paul graduated from Central High School in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1949. He enlisted in the Air National Guard in 1951, and served as a Communications Center Specialist during the Korean Conflict.
Paul married Laverne Balken on June 5, 1954, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He worked for Norwest Bank in Minneapolis for over twenty years as a Personal Banker and Loan Officer.
He enjoyed playing the organ and was a church organist for several years.
Paul is survived by his daughter, Bonnie (Dennis) Sandin; brother, Rollin Norman of Duluth, Minnesota; brother, Don (Gloria) Norman of Aitkin, Minnesota; brother, Dick (Wanda) Norman of Japan; sister-in-law Ruth Norman of Duluth, Minnesota; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Laverne (Susie), his brothers, Jim Norman and Howard Norman, and parents Herb and Luella Norman.
Private family memorial will be held.
Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.[more]
