ding many trips to Kona, Hawaii and Holland America Cruises. He was a charter member of the Rochester Coin Club and collected coins and paper money. He was also an avid collector of vintage sports memorabilia and enjoyed golfing and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Char of Rochester; son, Scott Ellefson of Urbandale, IA; two step-granddaughters; four step-great grandchildren; sister, Barb (Gary) Karau of Rochester; sister-in-law, Joan Brown of Rochester and several nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his parents, son, Todd; sister, Margie Creech; daughter-in-law, Terri Hannam and brother-in-law, Robert (Larry Brown). Memorials can be directed to First Presbyterian Church, Samaritan Bethany or Donor's Choice. The family would like to thank the Mayo doctors and caregivers for the wonderful care Dave received.
