ch 2, 1976 in Glenwood. They made their home in Malvern and they were blessed with a son Matthew. In his younger years Dean enjoyed hunting and fishing. The family enjoyed taking trips where they would do off road 4x4 rock-crawling on rock trails in the mountains. He was an absolute "gear-head" who loved working on cars; especially the Ford Mustangs which he collected. He also found a time to do a little drag racing. Dean had a great sense of humor and was always there to lend a hand to his family and friends whenever someone needed help. He was a wonderful son and brother, a great husband and dad, and a good friend to all who knew and loved him. Dean unexpectedly passed away on January 29, 2019 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, at the age of 61 years, 3 months, and 24 days. He was preceded in death by his mother Louise Stacy in April 2014; and sister Tricia Lynn Jones in February 2015. Dean is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rita Stacy of Malvern; son Matthew Stacy of Malvern; father Carson Stacy of Omaha, NE; brother Stuart Stacy and wife Terri of Malvern; parents-in-law, Raymond and Delomia Goldsberry of Malvern; brothers-in-law, Darren Jones of Blair, NE and Jeff Goldsberry of Malvern; sisters-in-law, Sandra Harvey and husband Lane of Farragut, IA, and Diane Goodman and husband Charles of Malvern; other relatives; and many friends.
