Lucy passed away on December 30, 2018 in Bothell, WA at the age of 98. She was born in 1920 in Hope, Arkansas to Harry and Maggie Plummer. When she was young, she and her mother moved from Hope, Arkansas to Dallas, Texas to be near her grandparents. In 1946, Lucy moved to Seattle from Dallas, to marry Jack Sloan (1918 - 1986), her husband of 40 years. She lived in Seattle (Greenwood and Ballard) for 61 years until 2007 when she moved to Brittany Park in Woodinville to live closer to her daughter. She enjoyed gardening, socializing with friends, outings with her daughter and travelling. For many years she traveled frequently, visiting a variety of places including Norway, England, Spain and Morocco.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Gay (Steve).
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2pm, January 26, 2018, at Evergreen Washelli Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Medic One Foundation, 11747 NE 1st ST, Suite 310, Bellevue, WA 98005.
