s a LPN. A few years later she divorced Edward, but continued to raise the two remaining children at home. Pauline worked as a nurse until she retired in her sixties. Although Pauline struggled much of her life, she proved to be an inspiration to all that she encountered. She was the matriarch to an enormous and always expanding family and responsible for laying the foundation of strong faith and morals to generations. Pauline loved first and asked questions later. Her faith and spirit was unwavering and through trials and tribulations she never lost sight of the importance of her relationship with Christ and family. She was a devout Christian and involved in her church for most of her life. She loved singing and participated in her church's choir as well as singing at other events within the community. Her presence and support was unwavering. She never missed a birth, wedding, birthday party, school concert, or any other event important to a loved one. She will forever be remembered as loving, compassionate, outspoken, witty, and generous. Pauline is survived by five children, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children-- Terri, Thomas, and Ricky; and and two grandchildren-- Nichole and Curtis. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 18, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
