William L. Wayne, of Bradenton, FL, passed away on December 9, 2018.
Thank you Mr. Wayne for being the best gym teacher. You taught me discipline and made me run wind sprints in 9th grade football practice. You held a stop watch on the very first 600 yard run I ever did at age 11. That taught me life is not easy and you have to work hard to succeed. You made up lift our legs 6 inches off the ground and I did it for 5 whole minutes. Then you told us we were "super tuff". Sometimes you would place steel weights on my stomach and stand on it while I did those leg lifts. That made us real strong. A very good lesson in life. Thanks for everything. Thank you for giving me that award for "student who spent the most time helping out and volunteering in gym class". It was a necklace and I gave it to my high school girlfriend. See you up there....bye....Joe Lizak AHS class of 1976
My deepest sympathies to Mr. Wayneโs family. Such fond memories of him growing up. Iโll never forget his laugh & the fun time visiting him & Martha on Smith Lake. Rest in eternal peace

Dad (Pappa),
We will miss you dearly thank you for all the memories we were able to make together from visiting you and Mom in Alabama and Florida and the summers you spent in East Matunuck with us all.
Your Son John and Family
Loved his family
This was my papa, he loved life and had a deep, infectious belly laugh. The love of his life was his late wife, Martha Wayne. They had years of memories together from Living in Alabama, north Attleboro ma. And living our their retirement in Florida where papa remained after Martha passed. He leaves behind a daughter, Laura Wayne Wheeler and a son, John Wayne. As well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. This obituary doesnโt do any justice for our papa and I hope those that remember him can find peace knowing how loved he was. We will miss you terribly, Iโll always be your โsweetieโ
Iโll miss you, your laugh, your smile and your big hugs and just seeing you.
Not sure if this is the same William Wayne....we called him BILLY Bob
And he lived in Palmetto at Sun key village until he moved to Anna Maria island . His deceased wife was Martha and they were from Ma. And vacationed in Rhode Island.
Not sure but the birthday is the same.
He had a son and daughter.
Sorry Bill.....rest in peace.
