His grandchildren all held a special place in his heart, he was honored to act as grandfather to many other children. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia, a daughter, Ashley (Mark Stolze) Carr of Ankeny, IA; bonus daughter, Barbara (Ellis) Codjoe of Ottumwa, IA; bonus son, Anthony (Sara) Barrett of Plumas Lake, CA; grandchildren Kirra, Eva, Aria, Jacob, Matthew, RieLynn and Madison; his parents of Terlingua, TX; sister, Katrina Harvey of Fargo ND; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; two brothers, David Troy and Clint Robert; and sister, Dianne Kathleen. The Celebration of Life Service for Brett Hill will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday December 15th at Lunning Chapel. Rev. Deb Kinney will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at Lunning Chapel. Cremation will be accorded after the service. A memorial has been established in memory of Brett.
