hich was evident by his varied talents: he was a sportsman, with hunting and trapping; a marksman in shooting; his desire to indulge in various cuisine; invoke humor with quick wit and humility and he was also a passionate Bibliophile. His retention of information was so impressive most thought he had a PhD. Grover belived in patriotism and in the Consitution. He was a proud Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association, a founding member of the Second Amendment Task Force, the John Birch Society and the Sons of the Confederacy. He had a strong work ethic, having worked and retired after 35 years for GM Truck & Bus and 10 years as a security Guard for W.I.S.H. TV, both in Indianapolis, IN. He believed very strongly in God 1st, Country 2nd, and Family 3rd. He was extremely Patriotic and taught his children to always salute the American Flag and stand at attention when you hear The Star Spangled Banner. He loved being around his children and grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, trading guns and knives, and going to gun shows. He also loved reading and discussing the King James Bible and American History. His memory before alzheimer's was uncanny. He could quote the Bill of Rights and the U. S. Consitution word for word. Grover belived with everything in him that the King James Bible "Gods Law" and the U.S. Constitution was the Supreme Law of the Land and was willing to defend either with his life if necassary. He leaves behind his family to cherish his memory: daughter, Janet Marie "Janet-re" Ledford of Cookeville, TN; son, Timothy Grover Ledford, Sr. of Crawford, TN; grandchldren, James Ryan Padgett of Nashville, TN, Kyle Lee Padgett of Monroe, TN, Thomas Fitzgerald Ledford of Monroe, TN, Courtney Diane Ledford of Cookeville, TN, Rory Michelle Ledford of Knoxville, TN, Emily Rose Ledford of Crawford, TN, Timothey Grover Ledford, Jr. of Crawford, TN; great-grandchildren, Garrison Padgett of Monroe, TN, Jamison Padgett of Monroe, TN, Gracie Ann Padgett of Houston, TX; a host of nieces and nephews. Grover was a devote Christian, believing Christ was his savior. He will be joining those who have preceded him in death: his parents, Grover and Eliza; uncle, Ezra Ledford; siblings, Molly Dean Ledford, John Thomas "Cheif" Ledford, Clyde Haskell "Hass" Ledford, Dolan B. "Bun" Ledford, Wiley Green "Dick" Ledford and Emogene "Jean-Jean" Ledford Anderson; grandson John Brandon Padgett.
