Linda (Chrudimsky) King, of Antigo, died Friday, June 29, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was 67 years old. She was born on August 25, 1950, in Antigo, a daughter of the late Floyd and Audrey (Kamps) Chrudimsky. She married Vernon King on July 20, 1996, at St. Joseph Phlox. She graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1968. Linda moved to Green Bay in 1969 and was employed for 30 years at Nielson Marketing and Research Company. In 1996 she returned to Antigo. She worked in Human Resources for AllCar and Wiremaid in Wausau. In 2000 she became employed by Aspirus Langlade Hospital as a switchboard operator and later moved to the billing department until her retirement in 2010. She was a member of St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church in Phlox and the Devine Menting American Legion Auxiliary 525, Phlox. She loved to cook, enjoyed trips to the casino and the companionship of her three little kittens. (Randy) Duchan of Antigo; two brothers, Ed (Sandy) Chrudimsky of Antigo and Dewey (Kay) Chrudimsky of Antigo; five sisters-in-law, Margaret (Ronald) Heschke of Iola, Sharon Gibson of Antigo, Agnes Van Riper of Antigo, Carol (Duane) Philipps of Deerbrook, Cora King of Phlox; three brothers-in-law, Art (Sherry) King of Antigo, Ken (Kathy) King of Michigan and Richard Smith of Aniwa. Linda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Chrudimsky; a brother, Paul Chrudimsky; three great-nephews; sister-in-law, Valeria Smith and brothers-in-law, Jerome King, Floyd Gibson and Dean Van Riper. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann and Deacon Tom Hartman officiating. A private burial will take place in the Town of Norwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 9 to 11 a.m.
