on. Ray loved watching Badger football and basketball, the Packers and the Brewers. One of his favorite things was listening to classic early rock and roll music from the 1950's. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline (Polly), children, Rachel (Kent) Petersen, Jonathan (Sally) Ostling, grandchildren Mickey (Cheryl), Ashlyn (Alec), Whitney and Brooklyn, sister Ann Elfstrom, sisters-in-law Patricia Thompson and Priscilla Bauer and five nieces and one nephew and his beloved cat Ellie. He was preceded in death by his parents Gus and Ellen Ostling, mother-in-law Velva Bauer, brothers-in-law Tom Thompson and Jim Elfstrom and special feline friends. According to his wishes no services will be held. Cress Funeral Home is assisting the family.
