Judith Ann O'Dell

Sun Prairie Judith "Judy" Ann O'Dell, age 75, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018, at Skaalen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. She was born April 15, 1942 in Token Creek, the daughter of Clarence and Gladys (Goodman) Harbort. Judy was united in marriage to Ralph O'Dell Jr. on June 9, 1972, in Madison. Together they raised two daughters. Judy retired from Gardner's Bakery after working 45 years. She will be remembered as a gentle, caring mother & avid animal lover. She was a ball of enthusiasm who adopted everyone and everything "Just call me Mom". Like any cat she finally used all 9 lives In her steadfast attempt to reach 105 years old. She was an eclectic collector of stamps, coins, trivets, salt/ pepper shakers & cookie jars. She had a zest for life that couldn't be stopped and a smile for everyone. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos with friends & family and looked forward to game nights. The family would like to give special thanks to Tabitha and the staff at Skaalen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and to the doctors and nurses at UW Hospital. And of course to Bonnie Harbort who has for the last ten years filled the roles of Sister, CareGiver and Best Friend.
