ion. She would go on to work the next 38 years at Brotherhood Mutual where she retired on October8, 2017. With her son growing up, Kathy enjoyed traveling. The family would go on spring break vacations and visit places like the Golf Shores, the coast lines of North Carolina, trips to Dolly World and for Ryan's 12th birthday, they went to Disney World. Sunday afternoons were a common time for them to get in the car and just drive around. Many of these trips included stopping for ice cream, even if they had to drive 50 miles away to get it. Her jewelry was her art collection with hand crafted pieces. With a great voice, Kathy enjoyed singing. She had been involved with a choir in Fort Wayne through IPFW. She also enjoyed reading and loved good romance novels. Another great skill she possessed was her cooking capability. Her lasagna, beef stroganoff, cheesecake and the pretzel salad she made for her son at Christmas will definitely be missed.
