it got to be too much to handle, due to a chronic back ailment, Tony could be found on Troy Cedar Lake having cookouts, camping, fishing, pontooning, and canvassing the area in his golfcart, with plenty of 80's music playing. Just this past summer Tony was able to take a vacation to New York, somewhere he had always wanted to go. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered in our loving hearts. Paul A. "Tony" McConnehey, age 52, of Columbia City, IN, passed away at 7:43 am on Thursday January 11, 2018, at his residence. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Margaret "Peggy" McConnehey of Columbia City; children Brittany McConnehey, Joshua McConnehey, Anita Egner, Angie Kaminski, and Greg Kaminski all of Columbia City; 6 grandchildren; father Paul S. McConnehey of Columbia City; sisters Barb (Brent) Brumbaugh of Huntertown, Abby (Eugene) Rhoades of Columbia City, and Porschea McConnehey of Atlanta, GA Preceded in death by his mother Deanna May and granddaughter Taylor McIntosh. Funeral services for Tony will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday January 16, 2018 at DeMoney-Grimes, a LifeStory Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with calling from 2:00-7:00 pm.
