Edith "Candy" Harris

Ms. Edith "Candy" Harris 50, of Indianapolis passed away on January 5, 2018. Edith Maria Harris was born on September 11, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late James H. Harris and Katie Matthews. She was one of four children born to this union. "Candy" as she was affectionately called attended school 91, and graduated from Broad Ripple High School. She later furthered her education at Indiana University, studying early childhood education, and attended Brown Mackey College, where she was working toward her Paralegal Degree. Candy started working for Auntie Mann Daycare and Fannie's Baby Bungalow for many years as a secretary until she became ill in 2017. Candy favorite pastime was listening to her music and making CD's, traveling and encouraging others, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Candy is preceded in death by her father, brother, David L. Duncan and niece Kimberly Duncan.
