Kenneth E. Matthews, Sr., age 55 of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, November 08, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. Kenneth was a member of the Belvidere First Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing on the computer; especially Farmville 2. He was also self employed as a truck driver. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Matthews; mother, Hazel Gilliam; son, Corey Matthews, and a nephew, Joshua Matthews. He is survived by his fiancé, Antionette Nieto of Winchester; sons, Kenny Matthews and John (Molly) Matthews of Cowan; daughter-in-law, Amanda Matthews of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Colton Matthews, Cole Matthews, Karsen Tucker, Alayna Matthews, Natalee Matthews, Haley Matthews, Faith Matthews, and Katie "Bug" Matthews; sisters, Teresa Quick of Winchester and Faye Klutts of Winchester; brothers, Charles Matthews of Cowan and James Matthews of Missouri; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
