Paula E. Torgerson

Paula Elizabeth Torgerson 57, of Englewood, Fl passed away peacefully at home on September 7, 2017. She was born alongside her twin brother Patrick, to Mary and Donald Wesseling in Kalamazoo, Mi August 5, 1960. Paula married her late husband in 1984, and shortly after they welcomed their only child Rebecca. Paula worked as the dock master for Freedom Boat Club in Englewood and Fort Lauderdale, Fl. She was also a waitress at Fideli's Mexican Restaurant for many years at both their Dearborn and 776 locations. In 1998 Paula helped Capt. Robert Moore open Davey Jones Locker; a Nautical Antique store where she assisted in sales and customer service for twelve years. Paula always had a friendly, and inviting smile. She was always willing to help anyone who needed her; giving anything she could. Paula's last years were spent caring for her long time friend Bob. She loved her family and truly enjoyed being a "Gammy" to her three grandchildren.
