Elizabeth was born March 1, 1916, in Oxford, Ohio, to Berkley May Frazer and Laura Senour Frazer, both of whom preceded her in death. At a young age, Elizabeth moved to Indianapolis where she graduated from Shortridge High School. She received both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Butler University. She married Frederick Andrew Kiser, Jr. with whom she had two children, Barbara Kiser Bayer and David Berkley Kiser (wife, Cheryl). Two grandchildren, Ross Daniel Kiser and Kenna Elizabeth Kiser, enhanced her later years. Her children and grandchildren survive.
Elizabeth taught school for many years in Washington Township, first as a substitute teacher, and then full time at Westlane Junior High School, primarily teaching Latin and English. After retiring from full time teaching, she continued to share her love of lifetime learning with her family and by tutoring a number of students in those disciplines.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Carmel Health and Living and Seasons Hospice for their kind and thoughtful care for Elizabeth over the past two years.
