Douglas W. Moore

Douglas W. Moore, 73, of Tipton, entered eternal rest, peacefully Monday, September 7, 2015 in his home. In granting Doug's final wishes, there will be no memorial services. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. Doug was born on November 1, 1941 in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of Calvin S. and Ellen L. Lehr Moore. In Doug's younger years, he graduated from Tipton High School, Class of 1960, attended Parsons College and was a member of Golden Rule #24 Masonic Lodge as well as Scottish Rite 32nd. Doug was later employed at a Meat Processing Operations plant, where he retired as the Vice President. Doug is survived by his 4 sons; Jeffrey (Arleen) Moore of Harrah, OK; Robert (Tammy) Moore of Oklahoma City, OK; Patrick Moore of Ringold, OK; Dennis (Christine) Moore of Port Orchard, WA; Sister, Cheri (Bud) Crisp of Tipton, IA and Menifee, CA; Special friend, Sandy Childs; 13 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
