ching his grandsons play. He also enjoyed playing cards, watching sports and game shows, and spending time at the Community Tap after work, where he had many close friends. His quick wit and great sense of humor is what many will remember him for, and he could always bring a smile to the face of all whose path he crossed. He is survived by his wife, Juanita, of Fort Dodge; three children: KC Hughes (Arley) of Fort Dodge, Mitchell G. Bock of Fort Dodge, and Greg Bock (Becca) of Sandusky, Ohio; three grandchildren: Brian Hughes of Fort Dodge and Hilton and Quinton Bock of Sandusky, Ohio; three sisters: Mary Jo Dencklau (Donnie) of Thor, Judy Dencklau of Amarillo, Texas, and June Sankey (Jerry) of Fort Dodge; Brother Charlie Bock (Joni) of Carroll, Iowa; Brother-In-Law Ed Birnbaum (Norma) of Otho; Sister In-Law Carol Birnbaum of Humboldt. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters: Ruth Kennedy (Dick) of Webster City, Nancy Moninghoff (John) of Olde Town, Florida, Verna Snell (Don) of Manson, and Pat Birnbaum of Fort Dodge; and a grandson, Michael Joseph Hughes of Fort Dodge. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
