Mary Francis McLaughlin-Scheideman
September 9, 1920 - January 18, 2013

Mary F. McLaughlin-Scheideman, 92, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Marian Home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Henderson, Pastor St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. until the services at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Vannoni and her husband Anthony of Fort Dodge; son, Patrick Quinn McLaughlin and his wife Patricia of Pipe Creek, TX; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Alan Kreiman and his wife Joan of Fort Dodge; and her sister, Alice Palmer of Fort Dodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Gertrude (Davis) Kreiman; first husband, Patrick McLaughlin; brothers, Carl, Richard, and Jack Kreiman, and her second husband Marvin Scheideman.
Mary F. Kreiman was born on September 9, 1920 in Fort Dodge. She attended schools here. In 1938, she was united in marriage to Patrick McLaughlin and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Mary worked for Globe Union for 28 years until she retired. She was talented oil painter and was born to dance. She was a member of the Fort Dodge Polka Club and St. Paul Lutheran Church.
