"Uncle Carl was like a Dad to me. He was always there for me and my Son Josh. When I lived with my Uncle and Aunt , I helped Aunt Janet take care of the children when they were small. My Uncle Carl showed me how to fix cars. He enjoyed me reading the Bible to him. I helped Uncle Carl in his garden in Nashville. My greatest memory is when we use to plant large sunflowers. My deepest sympathy goes out to all the DeLarm family. Condolences from Sheila Starr."

"Uncle Carl will always be remembered in my heart as a gentle, kind man who would do what ever he could for his fellow man. I believe his faith in Jesus Christ made him the man he was. I will remember the big gardens he planted, always sharing and giving, that was the kind of man he was. I will remember that smile he had each time he would come to see us on the farm and visit with his brother David, my father. My prayers go out to Aunt Janet and the family. I know that he is home now in the arms of Jesus. "
