Mr. Davidson was an United States Army veteran. He was retired from Peabody Mfg. with several years of service. He was the son of the late Miller and Lula (Winston)Davidson. He was preceded in death by a son, Virgil Davidson, Jr., daughters. Gracie Davidson. Peggy McFarland, Evelyn Trucker and a grandson, Aton Jones.
Relatives: a loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Carrie Davidson. West Point, GA; six daughters. Vera Winston, Cindy Ann Dix, West Point, GA:, Angela (Mark)Davidson, Braselton, GA; Linda(Charlie)Winston. Brooklyn, NY; Betty(Michael)Jackson, Houston. TX; Gloria Jones, Lanett, AL; two grandsons, that he raised as his own, Andrew (Heather) Davis, Ill. Lanett, AL and Pierce Dix. Jr., West Point, GA; a special son-in-law. Prince McFarland. Lanett. AL; nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-In-law, nieces. nephews. cousins and other relatives and friends
