Our thoughts have been with you. On that Wednesday I was driving Keith to dialysis and was gone during visitation and funeral times. I heard after the fact that you were in Malvern briefly. What a long drive you had.

"Sorry to hear of the loss of cousin Dave. I was just getting to know him some with email. I have fond memories of the Iowa family when visiting in the summer while growing up. We all have the enemy death for now, but I have come to learn it will not always be that way, and I for one look forward to that time when we will see an amazing thing happen on this earth when the creator gets us back to his original purpose. If you dont normally look up incouragement in the Bible, take a minute and look up Rev 21;3-4 Psalms 37; 10-11 ,29 and a very amazing one at John 5; 28-29 This is where we find a real hope for the future and the chance to see our loved ones again. Cousin Gary"

"Dear Edie Family,
All the memories of David will be with you forever
As one of the cusins from California, we only visited every other summer, and we loved to come visit and see the farm and sit on the Edie porch with ALL the boy cusins. My recent emails with David were very enjoyable, I will miss hearing from him. Stay close as a family.
Our Love to you all, Lori & Family"

Of course, I am very sorry that this is the way it all came down. My deep condolences to all of you, especially Jimmy of whom he was so proud."

"To Dave's family: I've worked for the Omaha World-Herald for the past fourteen years but it was only in the past few years I had the privilege to get to know Dave. What a kind and gentle soul he was. He was such a good sport when he was teased and if his feelings were hurt, he never showed it. He was so proud of his grandchildren and constantly showed us their pictures. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will miss Dave and his kind ways every day. "
