Diane Watson

Diane Y. Watson, 61, Green Bay, died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born January 27, 1950 to the late Robert and Lillian (Kelln) Boone in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. On July 9, 1977, she married Jerry Watson at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Green Bay.
Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. With her husband, Jerry, she founded and operated Stadium View Sports Bar since 1992. She will be remembered for raising many kids who were employed at Stadium View. She had a great love for shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren and will be greatly missed by her entire family. She was a gentle and kind woman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jerry; one son, Bob (Amanda) Watson, Suamico; two grandchildren, Will and Ali Watson, Suamico; two brothers, Mickey Boone and Robbie Boone; one sister, Shirley (Dick) Blaser; two brothers-in-law, Jim (Bonnie) Watson and Jack (Debbie) Watson; one sister-in-law, Marianne Watson; extended family, Sandy and Larry Bader and Chuck Fogtman; and special friend, Gloria; numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends and her two dogs, George and Duncan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Dorothy Watson and father-in-law (Big) Jim Watson.
Visitation will be after 12 noon on Sunday, August 7, at Lyndahl Funeral Home where the funeral service will take place at 4 pm with Funeral Celebrant Matthew Cornelius officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Diane's name.
A special thank you to the staff of Unity Hospice, Bellin Hospital 4th floor, especially Dr. Amy James, also, the staff of University Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Diane.
