Rob Pecard

Robert "Rob" Pecard, 60, Allouez, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at a local hospital after a one-year courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 20, 1950 to the late Emery and Wilma (Hubbard) Pecard in Green Bay. Rob was a 1968 graduate of Green Bay West High School and was a graduate of NWTC. He served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1970 to 1972. On September 18, 1982 he married Kathryn "Kay" Kaya Wilmet in Green Bay. Rob was employed in the banking industry for 36 years with North Shore Bank. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the cottage at Shay Lake and was an avid Packer and Brewer fan.
Rob is survived by his wife, Kathryn "Kay"; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jason (Tanya), Illinois; Michael. Minnesota; and Eric, Green Bay; two grandsons, Matthew and Andrew; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Karen Pecard, Green Bay; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Merlin and Carol Wilmet; three brothers-in-law, John (Jane), Bill (Julie) and Mike (Debbie); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday, December 30, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, where the memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. with Matt Cornelius, funeral celebrant officiating. Full military honors to follow service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Green Bay Oncology especially, Dr. Matthew Ryan, Dr. Gregory Cooley, Dr. James Leenstra, Nicole, Connie, Lori and Marilee and the entire 9th floor staff at St. Vincent's Hospital for their care and concern for Rob. Kay would also like to thank the staff at North Shore Bank, Dr. Paul Vander Kelen and his staff, family and friends for all of their understanding and help during these past months.
