arl L. Bergner, 64, Green Bay, died peacefully at homeTuesday, January 13, 2009. He was born October 11, 1944 to the late Benjamin and Mildred (Zimmer) Bergner in Oconto Falls. ;
Earl was a semi-truck driver for LCL Transport before working as a manager for American Freight Systems from 1982 to 1990. He was a member of the Ashwaubenon Retired Fireman since 1982 and the Teamsters Union, Local 75. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.;
Survivors include his wife, Judy; three daughters, Carrie Bergner, Kim (Scott) Hanamann, Kristin (Shannon) Klein; six grandchildren, Mckenzie and Taylor Toellner, Landon, Cade and Collin Klein, Kate Hanamann; two step-grandchildren, Keegan (Alex) Siler, Kayla Hanamann; step-greatgrandson, Jameson Siler.;
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Benjamin Bergner, a sister, Gen Bielfuss.;
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 16, at Lyndahl Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday after 10 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. Ridge Road, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Earl Vorpagel III officiating. Interment in Fort Howard Memorial Park.
