Charlene M. Dahlke, 38, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born on October 28, 1968 in Kewaunee, WI to Gary and Karen (Patzlaff) Dahlke. She was a 1988 graduate of Ashwaubenon High School. Charlene has been employed by St. Norbert Abbey as housekeeping supervisor for the past 15 years. She loved cats (especially ?Butterscotch?), flowers, gardening and frogs. (Her nickname was Frog.) Charlene loved to do for others and gave the gift of life as an organ donor. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her parents: Karen Dahlke and Gary Dahlke, both of Green Bay; sister: Shannon Dahlke, Oconto Falls; one nephew: Nicholas Dahlke; the love of her life, Jeff Nelson, and his son, Marco; paternal grandmother: Gladys Dahlke, Kewaunee; aunts and uncles: Bonnie (Don) Ferron, Marla Dahlke, David (Sylvia) Patzlaff, Judy (Ron) White, Jim Patzlaff and Jerry Patzlaff (Carol White); cousins; Jeff's parents: Byron and Ruth Nelson; Jeff's sisters: Kelly and Marijo; and Jeff's nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Reinhardt and Hazel Patzlaff, and paternal grandfather, Lester Dahlke.
Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, where a prayer service will take place at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. John Parlow officiating. Interment in Fort Howard Memorial Park. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established.
