Inez Dalpiaz Colzani passed away peacefully on May23, 2025. She was 103 years old. She was born on July 22, 1921 to Celeste and Giovanna Dalpiaz. She was raised along with her five siblings in Helper Utah. She attended Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant , Utah State University graduating with a degree in education.
She married Carlo Colzani on June 24, 1945. In 1949, Inez and Carlo moved to Los Banos, California.
Inez taught school at Los Banos Elementary and Henry Miller Elementary. She then joined Carlo operating Carlos's Restaurant for 45 years.
Inez is preceded in death by her husband Carlo, son-in-law Louie Durrer, daughter-in-law Christine Colzani, parents and siblings.
She is survived by her son Michael Colzani, daughter Lisa Durrer, grandchildren Tia Colzani, Jill Landucci (Michael), Erik Durrer (Erika), John Durrer (Chantel) great grandchildren Gianna and joey Landucci, Neil and Louis Durrer and Sophie and Sienna Durrer.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Our Lady of Fatima School, 1625 Center Ave., Los Banos, California.
