Carmin Allen Schnarr Sr.
March 9, 1933 - May 17, 2025

Carmin Allen Schnarr Sr, age 92, of Washington, passed on to his heavenly home in the early morning hours on Saturday, May 17, 2025. He was born on March 9, 1933 in Washington to Lawrence John and Scharlottie (Allen) Schnarr.
Carmin was a 1951 graduate of Alfordsville High School. He served his country in the US Airforce Veteran during the Korean War. He retired as Tool and Die Maker from Navy Aviation in Indianapolis. Carmin was a member of Washington American Legion, Washington VFW, Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Masonic Lodge and Shriners.
He enjoyed fishing, working at St Vincent DePaul Store and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchild.
Carmin leaves behind those to mourn his passing; his wife, Salvatricia (LaRocka) Schnarr; a daughter, Michele (Jim) Eskridge of Freetown; a son Carmin A(Joan) Schnarr Jr of Vincennes; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn (Brennan) of Robinson, Illinois, Samantha Marie Schnarr of Evansville, Christopher Newton of Huntington, California, and Craig (Katie) Newton of Huntington, California; a great granddaughter, Ember Memering of Robinson, Illinois; sisters, Cleda Mae Kuckuck of Troy, Illinois, Marilyn (Duane) Witter of Michigan, and Arlene (Richard)Wininger of Montgomery; brothers, John (Janis) Schnarr of Jasper and Mike (Betty) Schnarr of Washington.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; sisters, Wynonia Eck and Brenda Witt; brothers, Gilbert Schnarr and Delbert Schnarr.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Burial will follow in St John Catholic Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW.
Visitation will be from 9:50 AM till 10:50 on Wednesday at our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.
