Manuel Tarsicio Rocha, aged 71, passed away on November 12, 2024, in Los Banos, California. Manuel was born on February 22, 1953 in Doze Ribeiras, Terceira, Azores. Manuel was a longtime resident of the area and is remembered for his deep connection with his community and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his sisters, Maria Alcide Correia (Ezequiel) of Gustine and Ana Teresa Mattos (Joaquin) of Hanford, along with five nephews, three nieces, and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. Manuel was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Cecilia Rocha.
A visitation for Manuel will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel. A Rosary and Mass will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Los Banos Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
