Susan "Susie" Elaine Kleppe 67, of Cedar Rapids Iowa; peacefully left her earthly body on October 23, 2024, after a timely battle with COPD.
Susan was a very strong and bold individual. She could be a woman of stone but loved being a grandmother. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. For most of Susan's life she held the same position, operating the press at various dry cleaners. Susan and her husband Duane raised two beautiful daughters. Susan loved her family, friends and all pets. Most specifically, she had a fond love for cats. Susan was the kind of woman you could depend on no matter what, she would be the first person to give you her last dollar.
Susan has resided in many locations across the United States. No matter where she went one thing remained the same, she was loved and adored by many. Words can't describe the sorrow felt by anyone affected by her passing. She is gravely missed. A Celebration of Life will be held in Susan's honor on November 2nd,2024 at The Classic Event Center 3607 1st Ave SE Suite A Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 from 2pm - 6pm. Flowers or donations can be sent to the event center prior to the time of the event.
Survived by her two daughters: Leah (Terry)Ann Hartl, Dawn Marie Carpenter. Five grandchildren: Shiann Vonderheide, Myah Hartl, Ashley Hartl, Kyle Swider, Jenna Swider. Four great grandchildren: Kayden Zimmerman, Karver Strait, Lauralaii Hartl, Liam Hartl. Four sisters: Joann (Tracy) Derifield, Norma (Pete) Hayes, Janice Hartman, Donna Kane.As well as many nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her husband Duane Thomas Kleppe, {Mother} Minnie Blanch Neuenkirk, {Father} Elmer Ronald Neuenkirk, and {Brother} Duane Neuenkirk.
