Tributes

Chloe Stodt wrote on Dec 3, 2024:

"In my experiences with Barbara as a piano classmate and friend over a 30-year period, I often observed her concern and love for others. I believe this was intrinsic to her nature, and yes, reflected in her smile (8-11-2016 photo). I especially admired her proactivity, her diligent maintenance of her diabetic regimen, her sensitive musicianship, her care for her students, and her empathy for the pain of others. May love heal all wounds, and may we all know peace. Deepest condolences to her family."

Molly Rivadeneira wrote on Aug 22, 2024:

"A lovely person, with a wonderful smile emanating kindness. A talented musician and pianist. Will be dearly missed. "

Joseph Alfano wrote on Aug 21, 2024:

"Barb was an inspiring part of the most important period in my life! We were friends while we both attended Kent State University. She was the finest pianist I ever knew so closely. I learned a lot from her. I remember Barb most for all the laughter and learning we shared, along with Pedro Rivadeneira, in our twenties--precious memories!"

I love her dearly, she was always on my mind and will always be in my heart, I hope she is now in peace and joy and in the love and light of God. I will miss you terribly.
