Connie Lee Cochren
June 3, 1954 - April 15, 2024

Connie Lee Cochren, 69yo, passed away April 15, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa surrounded by family and friends. Born in Davenport, Iowa to proud parents Arlean (Brandt) and Leroy Schult. Connie graduated High School and eventually settled in Durant, Iowa.

Connie worked in a variety of fields including retail at Von Maur and as a Computer Teacher at Wilton Elementary. She spent several years as the Superintendent for the Junior Baking Division of the Muscatine County Fair as well as a member of the Durant and Davenport Jaycees. Connie was known for "going big" on family Holiday meals and her family tradition was to make a unique dish known as "Bingo Burgers". She enjoyed taking the kids camping and fishing when they were younger. During her down time, Connie enjoyed watching old Godzilla movies, murder mysteries as well as Ghost Hunter episodes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband, Robert H. Cochren and Son, Christopher R. Cochren.

Connie is survived and lovingly remembered by her Daughters; Staci (Kevin) Cochren of Durant, IA, Ashley (Donald) Reinier of Davenport, IA, Elizabeth Cochren of Waukee, IA. Son; Kevin (Jayme) Cochren of Ocoee, FL. Also cherishing her memory are 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion in Durant, Iowa on Saturday April 20, 2024, from 4:00pm-8:00pm. There will be a private Burial held earlier in the day.
