Grace, better known as Amazing Grace, filled this world with so much joy and LOVE during her short time here on Earth. Amazing Grace was the definition of a miracle, as she thrived and overcame every obstacle, despite only having half of a functioning heart. Her parents, Janelle and Dan, love their Gracie more than words could ever describe. They were her biggest fans and were so honored and proud to be her parents. Amazing Grace's best friends were her sisters, Madeline and Abigail. Wherever they were, Gracie wanted to be. Gracie absolutely loved and adored her sisters.

The darkest days were made brighter by Gracie, as she brought smiles to everyone around her, including strangers in public. Not only did she bring smiles to others, but Gracie, herself, LOVED to smile. No matter what she was doing, if a camera came out, she would stop and give the best "cheese" smile and clap for herself. Making people laugh was one of the many talents she had, and this went hand-in-hand with Gracie's ability to make others smile.

It is the family's hope that Amazing Grace and her life will continue to be an inspiration to everyone. The family wants others to know what Faith, Hope, and Love are, as Amazing Grace embodied all of these. They also want others to remember that miracles really do exist, as Amazing Grace was a living miracle.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Amazing Grace's wonderful providers and caregivers. There are no words to adequately thank all of you for your unwavering love and compassion for not only Gracie, but the entire family.

First and foremost, the family wishes to thank Dr. David Korones and Barbara Murante, NP, for being there quite literally every step of the way - while Gracie was still in the womb, right up until she took her final breath. The family could not have navigated this unthinkable journey without your constant support, guidance, and most of all, love.

A very special thank you to every member of Amazing Grace's:

"Somehow I ran across Grace's memorial video on YouTube. I experienced the loss of my own newborn son as a result of a heart malformation many years ago. As with him, I am grateful for every precious day you were blessed to have your little Grace with you, and I thank you for sharing her, your beautiful family, and your story with the world. She was truly a miracle, and a beautiful little girl. Please accept my prayers for you both, as well as Grace's beautiful big sisters."

"How my heart breaks with you all. "Amazing" Grace will forever live in your hearts as she's left an imprint on you that can never be removed. My granddaughter Breanna was also born with DS and a heart condition that although surgery was performed, it did not provide her with a life sustaining outcome, and she passed away at 6 months old. I'd like to believe she was with Jesus as Grace entered into Heaven and together with God, they forever live in perfect health and will meet us when we arrive to hold and kiss them again. My condolences & sympathy to your entire family and prayers of comfort are extended on your behalf. "

"I don't know your family but you came up on my You Tube feed. May all your memories of this beautiful girl bring you comfort. I can relate to you as my 1st grandchild Jared was born with Downs Syndrome. He had heart surgery at 2 to repair a hole between the chambers of his heart. I called him my little soldier. He handled that so well. He's now 27. He has been such a blessing. Each new thing he learned was a joy to him and our family. He went through school and graduated. I cried seeing him in a cap and gown as I recalled seeing him in those 1st hrs. after his birth. And wondered where his life's journey would take him. They say God gives these special children to special people. It's why you were chosen to care for her while she was here. {{{HUGS}}} to you all from Gramma Penny"

Isn?t it wonderful we can celebrate the beauty and wonder of our children, even when they seem to depart so quickly? But we don?t lose anyone, not really. We walk together on our journey, on the path we have chosen, and sometimes our loved one runs ahead of us, out of sight for the moment, but we will catch up soon enough. No one is lost. Ever. Gracie is just ahead, waiting for you to catch up with her, arms wide open with a big hug to greet you. "
