Antonio C. Ricci, (90), of Rochester, New York, passed away on February 24, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Antonio, fondly known as Tony, was born to Concetto Ricci and Maria Giuseppa Giacurcio-Bianchi, on November 8, 1933, in Villavallelonga, Abruzzo, Italy. He was an incredible father, a caring husband, and loving grandfather. He left Italy in 1952 where he migrated to Canada and worked construction. He then moved to the United States in 1966 where he married Lucia Ricci on September 3, 1966. He lived in Greece, New York where he worked at Rochester Products and raised his family proudly.
Antonio is survived by his wife Lucia and two children, Maria Ricci (Mike) and Anthony Ricci (Kirsten). He is also a grandfather to 3 grandchildren, Diane Maria Beirs (Nate), Mason Antonio-Paul Ricci, and Natalia Joelle Ricci.
Aside from his love for soccer, Antonio was passionate about his family. He was heavily involved in his children's lives. He loved being a coach, fan and a supporting father for all of his children's and grandchildren's lives.
Antonio's visitation is on Friday, March 8, from 4- 7 pm, at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His funeral service will be on Saturday, March 9, at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
