In loving memory of

Kevin James Iuppa
October 27, 1987 - February 12, 2024

Kevin James Iuppa, born on October 27th, 1987, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, February 12, in Rochester, NY, leaving our family utterly devastated. Kevin, age 36, is the beloved son of Gerry and Kathy Iuppa; cherished brother of Jennifer (Adam) Melaragno and Meagan (Marty) Philbin; adored grandson of Ann Iuppa; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Gerard Iuppa Sr., Frank, and Helen Dudgeon; uncle, Brian Dudgeon; and cousin, Ava Dudgeon.

A graduate of Greece Athena High School, Kevin furthered his education at Fredonia State College, where he earned his bachelor's degree in history and business. He excelled in his career as a loan officer, demonstrating his talents at several companies, most recently at Mountain West Financial.

Kevin's true passions, centered on his family and his pursuits outside of work. He was deeply devoted to his nieces and nephew, Cora, Charlotte, Chloe, and Hudson, earning him the endearing title of "Fun Uncle Kev." He spared no effort in showering them with the latest toys and crafting unforgettable experiences for them to cherish. Marley, his beloved dog, was his constant companion and best buddy.

An outstanding athlete, Kevin excelled in many sports, ultimately choosing soccer as his primary focus. He was widely recognized as an exceptional goalkeeper in both school and county teams. With many diverse interests, Kevin embraced an active lifestyle, finding joy in Muay Thai, weightlifting, golf, darts, ping pong, and was an avid fan of Formula One racing.

His vibrant personality, quick wit, and beautiful smile endeared him to those who crossed his path. Kevin brought light and love into our lives with his infectious laughter, compassionate heart, and unwavering kindness. Kevin's generous spirit knew no bounds; he welcomed everyone with open arms and warmth. He never missed an opportunity to reach out and tell his family and friends how proud he was of them.

Kevin's sudden departure has left a profound void in the lives of our family and countless others who were touched by his kindness and light. His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, and the ache in our hearts is unbearable. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Our family deeply appreciates your prayers and support during this challenging time. Kevin's legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who know him.

Kevin, we love you, may the Lord wrap his arms around you and keep you. We hope you are dancing in the sky, singing in the angel's choir, and that everyone up in Heaven knows how truly special you are!

Please join our family to share Kevin's life story during his visitation, Saturday, March 2, from 2:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home Bartolomeo & Perotto, 1411 Vintage Lane, Rochester, NY 14626 (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.).
