Edward J. Pollet, 87, went home to his Heavenly Father on January 28, 2024. Predeceased by his parents, Alphonse and Josephine, siblings Robert, Frank, Al, Jackie and Ethel.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Ann; children Cynthia (Tom) Horn and Michael Pollet; grandchildren James and Caroline Horn; great grandchildren Sylvia and Sara Horn; siblings John Pollet and Linda Randazzo. Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ed was born in New Orleans, LA on October 26, 1936. He moved to Rochester in 1965 to marry his love, Ann. He served in the US Army stationed in Germany and worked over 28 years at RTS.
In his younger years, he liked bowling and playing cards. In retirement, he enjoyed watching football, TV game shows, doing scratch-offs and spending time with family.
Friends may call at Bartolomeo & Perotto funeral home, at 1411 Vintage Lane on Friday, February 2 from 4-7 pm. A Mass will be held at St. Mark's at 54 Kuhn Rd on Saturday, February 3 at 1 pm with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery immediately following church.
