"Jerry was a great guy, a truly nice person. I always enjoyed being in his company when we were good friends during our teens. I was saddened today to learn of his passing from a mutual friend who over the years used to pass our greetings along to one another. Such a pleasant, good and decent person. My condolences to his family. -- Fred Eckert"
