In loving memory of

Holly Lingelbach
December 19, 1960 - January 20, 2024

Holly Ann Lingelbach, 63, of Grimes, passed away at Unity Point Taylor Hospice House with her children by her side. Holly was born in Des Moines, IA to Lester and Phyllis Lingelbach. She was the only daughter of their children. They lived in Grimes, and Holly continued to live there her entire life. Holly attended school at Dallas Center Grimes and graduated high school in 1969.

In her younger years Holly was a CNA at Bishop Drum and Fountain West. She secured her career when she started working as a Head Housekeeper for the Courtyard By Marriott in Clive, IA. She was employed there for 19 years. Before passing she worked as a Breakfast Attendant at the Holiday Inn Express in West Des Moines, IA.

Holly was a workaholic, but her biggest accomplishment was the love she had for her two children, Andrea and Travis. In her spare time she enjoyed watching her favorite shows; Criminal Minds, The Young and the Restless, Big Brother and Survivor. She was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and Shemar Moore. Holly was very into decorating for the holidays. She never limited her displays, it didn't matter if it was Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas, you could always count on her apartment balcony to be decorated. She also loved shopping, especially for the newest Bath and Body Works products and her designer purses.

Holly was a social butterfly, and she cared for so many people. She will be missed by so many. She was a good friend, fun coworker, and a rockstar mom.

Holly is survived by her children; Andrea (Zach) Lingelbach and Travis Campbell; one grandson, Antonio (Tony) Martelli; her best friend, Terry Campbell; her niece Nicole Lingelbach and nephew Joshua Lingelbach; and her brother, David Lingelbach.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; Lester and Phyllis Lingelbach; a brother William (Bill) Lingelbach and aunts and uncles; Harold Rose; Dean and Virginia Rose; Richard (Dick) and Elaine Rose; and Dudley and Mary Alice Derry.

It was Holly's wishes that she be cremated and divided between her children and grandchild.

Memorial services will be at a later date.

Holly loved everyone she came into contact with, and she will be truly missed.
